Newbie question about 4 series trim

Thinking about purchasing a CPO 4 series next year and I'm confused about why some have black fender vent trim and others chrome (aluminum?). Doesn't seem to be associated with M sport package. So what gives?

It is associated with the pkg/line of the car. Sport line and M Sport cars will have the black fender vent. Luxury line cars will have the chrome/aluminum vent. I can't remember what no-line cars have.

You can always swap those out too.

OK thanks. I figured they could be easily changed out; just wondered what the logic was.
