Lots of USA/CA people here - unfortunately that means not a lot of info on the engine. Plenty of chassis and info on the cars however. Check out the diesel subforum for a bit of info on the N57.

Not sure how busy the European sub forum is, but the UK one is very busy. Lots of 435d owners in there, so might be a good idea to post there as well.

My wife drives a 435 xd GC, I consider its engine as an engineering marvel.

If you have not yet done so, you may wish to read about coding - in this forum there are many very good threads about it - it's far easier than it looks at the beginning and it is quite useful.
