Swap-a-lease?

Hey guys. So I recently picked up a 435i xDrive Cpe 6MT. I love the car but it just doesn't make sense for me as I drive in stop and go traffic every day and the stick really sucks. I have driven stick ever since I had my license but it just doesn't make sense for me right now. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you had dealt with swap a lease at all/any results y'all have had.

The better your payment, the faster your car will go.

I had a 2012 E92 (as seen in my sig). I posted it up on swapalease, and after 2 weeks I was handing the keys over to the new owner. Just the BMW transfer application alone is supposed to take 3. I found a buyer fairly quickly and was able to push BMW to get it done before my payment was due.

Word of advice - don't sign up online. Call them. I called them and told me that leasetrader offered me whats comparable to swapalease's $400 option for only $125. Without a moments hesitation they said "okay we'll do it for $100". So definitely try and get them to drop the price for you.

Agree. Swap a Lease is a great service but its all about having a favorable payment.

I actually got the car at the end of the 14 model year, with a $1,000 incentive for the un4gettable drive event, and $1,000 for being a recent college grad, and I get employee pricing. so I think my lease is pretty favorable lol

whats your price per month and how much if any did you put down?

I had someone take over my last f30, I found someone locally, BMW FS was really great, they say the process can take 3 weeks but it took like a week and half for me, juts overnight in your documents.

My lease price was very favorable lol, as I had a trade in which I did not ask for all of the value back on.

all i hear is good feedback from swap a lease.
When i was trying to do the same for my car, it did not work out for me.
I went to carmax and got them to buy my leased car instead

I don't think you'll have much trouble finding someone to pick that up. Does it have DHP? I'd almost try to pick it up for that price. LOL

WTF! How in the world did you manage that?? I mean I personally think I have one of the cheapest loaded 428's at 530/mo with no money down. That's ridiculous. Fak I would have taken over your car.

As far as I knew the only way to get employee pricing on leases was to actually be an employee. (there's sometimes a difference between employee pricing and the employee lease rates offered by BMW FS (I think))

I actually stand corrected, I don't get employee pricing, it is just net of AVP (my family owns a dealer, only way I can get that price)

I don't think you can transfer a car with employee discount. Double check that.

How would you rate the m performance exhaust? Can you hear it while driving normally without squeezing the gas pedal hard?

Not really, and I disabled the solenoid that controls the flap in the left exhaust pipe. Far too quiet....miles quieter than my PE on my old E92 335, it almost sounds muffled. However I think that has a lot to do with the resonators/silencers/downpipe on the F series as even with no exhaust on the car it was quieter than my E92 w/ the PE.

The MPE actually should sound better the valve closed. I can explain why if you wish.

On a side note; I would be scooping your car up in a second if it was available a month ago when I was looking, but in the end I am very very happy with my car so no regrets here.

Ill buy your exhaust from you. Unless its a forum member it likely wont have any value to the future lessee.

Its forcing more of the exhaust out of only one open pipe, and the pipe that happens to be closer to the inlet of the muffler, so when the far pipe is closed it passes through less sound deadening material and sounds better.

Attached for illustrative purposes is the airflow, Valve closed is blue, valve open is red. This sound make things pretty obvious lol. I could be wrong on this at to WHY it sounds better, this is just my theory (and other people's) but I am pretty sure this is why.
