Coding tachometer in HUD

I know the M3 HUD can be configured to show rpm, is it possible to code the HUD on the 340 to do this? I looked through the various cheat sheets, but didn't come across anything.

Thanks,

Matt

This would be great if you could figure it out. I would really like ot figure out how to put the selected gear in the HUD too, even if it's only when in manual mode.

I tried some coding today and made HUD M active and it now gives me a M Mode option in the settings but doesn't seem to do anything else. I didn't find any difference when I checked the box on. Wonder if there is any other setting I need to look at.

I think there is a separate button to activate M mode on the steering wheel

Let me save you guys some time. In order to activate M hud or any of the M car Hud features you need the M gauge cluster. No coding will help.

And while M Hud can be associated with the M1 and M2 buttons, it doesn't have to be activated with them, it's accessible through idrive.
