[COMPLETED] F30 to F80 Conversion,Akrapovic, Vorsteiner, Bilstein, Eibach, Vredestein

UPDATE: 10/19/15 Everything is done including the glass coating Proper photoshoot tomorrow, but click the link below for some pictures from the 'show room'.

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1&postcount=98

UPDATE: 10/17/15 Custom wide body rear done!

UPDATE: Back to Vorsteiner VFF 103 19" - Pics on the 3nd page!

Got a M3 style rear bumper, so I had to come up with a solution to fit the exhaust gaps. We took two Akrapovic systems, cut them apart and made them fit as there is no off the shelf solution for quad diesel exhausts.

Right a couple of things are missing like the F80 mirrors and fenders. Got the front fenders already, but will look 'half assed' without the mirrors and welding the rear body part to have the wide body look, like the real M3.

Current Mods:
  • Vorsteiner VFF 103 - previously ADV.1 ADV05MV2SL 20"
  • Vredestein Tires
  • Bilstein B12 Coil Overs
  • Eibach Springs
  • M3 Front Fender
  • M3 Widebody Rear
  • M3 Style Bodykit
  • Custom Akrapovic Quad Exhaust
  • ECU-Tuning
  • Black Mirrors
  • Black M3 Style Kidney Grill
  • Carbon Fibre Front Lip
  • Carbon Fibre Side Skirt Extensions
  • Carbon Fibre Trunk Spoiler
  • Fog lights removed
  • Glossy black roof
  • 60% 3M window tint
  • M3 Style Mirrors

Missing Mods:
  • M-Performance or Brembo Breaks

The exhaust sound is nothing to speak of, which I am happy about as the car is a Diesel. Anyway, here are the pics..

this is magnificent! Are you going to eventually go on and do a full f80 conversion?

I just realized the fog lights are installed behind the grilles, how is that possible?

That was the idea, but with every project there are slight changes or bumps in the road. One of the major obstacles is the missing wide body rear part. Even with the m3 style mirrors and the m3 front fender it would still not be 100% the m3 optic without welding the rear parts.

For now I think i'll leave it the way it is, besides adding a pair of Brembo's or M-Performance breaks. Too much wheel, too little break right now

Thanks! Adding the F80 mirrors as well as the M3 front fenders this week. Will have to weld the rear fender and put on some spacers to get the real M3 look.

Then it's done for now... for now

Looks Great! Maybe add a power dome hood next ? I would recommend the rear wheel arches as well, saw a set available on TC Concepts. http://shop.tc-concepts.de/deu_48/Ra...ng_BMW_F30_F31
