428 vs. 435 GC

Assuming you could afford either one, which would you choose and why?

Id get the 428 because I have already own a fast car and dont need the power to commute and take trips in. Fuel economy is better, insurance is cheaper, as is the sticker price.

If I could only have 1 car I would get the 435 so it would be more suited for trackdays and mountain runs.

Pricing aside - 435 GC. Even with pricing - 435 GC.

435 GC

I love the looks of that car (I would trade my 335i on a hart beat for it), and the N55 engine with power kit it is just a amazing! A true fast and reliable machine! IMO

435 mainly because of the looks! (tailpipes). 430d in Europe because I want rwd, good economy/performance and just a little less than ridiculous taxes to pay

435 GC is way more interesting to me than 428.. more power and more utility.

For a 2 dr coupe, I would personally want more power than the 428

435i, because there's nothing better than a sweet BMW inline six motor.

I test drove both and no doubt if money is not an issue the 435i, having said that the 428i is a very fun car to drive around at high speeds (with out breaking the laws).
I've enjoyed my GC since day one...no regrets of getting the 428i

435 hands down just for the engine if money is not an issue. However, I'd opt for the 435 coupe or convertible!

The 435 would be my choice because of the same reason that most of the members in this forums like that engine. Inline six.

Your'e going to be hard pressed to get many votes for a 428 if money is of no concern.
