Best Look Yet at 3 Series M Sport Touring (F31) Prototype, in Action
BIMMERPOST NEWS Best Look Yet at 3 Series M Sport Touring (F31) Prototype, in Action This isn't our first sighting of the F31 3 Series Touring M Sport, but it's the best look yet at the F31 in beautiful Estoril Blue II and M Sport package. The camouflage tape remains a formality since the F30 3 series sedan M Sport has already been revealed. The F31 touring will share the same front and rear bumpers/diffusers and sideskirts. What's missing from the test cars so far are the M Sport wheels (Style 400M 18" or 403M 19") and M Sport brakes (more info). The next 3 series touring / wagon is expected to make its debut at the AMI auto show in Leipzig in early June. It should hit the US market sometime in the first half of 2013. As for F31 variants? North America can count on a 328i model, but will hopefully also see other variants (i.e. 335i and/or diesel) offered at some point in the F31's life cycle, though it's all just speculation at this point. I'd drive that. Too bad a 335 touring will never hit the U.S. (unless I've missed something).
An M3 touring...now that would be sweet.

there is a new sensor beside the side view camera.
i think this will be the new ACC with side distance warning (and steering). i think ACC will come with the touring for e30 und e31. |

Hmm, first pics I've seen that make me not care for it. The last three pictures that show just how flat and wide the rear glass is really look lazy. The E91 and the B8 A4 handle this much better. Overall, the F31 still looks more cohesive than the F30, but I'm not blown away by this update.

10th picture down with the shadow on the camp really lets the car's lines show. looks really good. if the F32 looks as gross as some of the stuff i've seen recently, this may be my choice

Please give NA more F31 options rather than just the 328i...

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know why they use reflectors on the rear bumpers? Is it a mandatory safety feature or something to get better safety ratings for BMW? I see lots of other cars with them, but not all.
