Help...ACS springs or new 20" alloy wheels

Ive done the MPPSK plus M performance LSD and other bits and want to finish off visually with a slightly more aggressive style.
My 440i has the m sport package with the adaptive suspension which sits lower than the standard models. It has the standard 19" grey orbit wheels which i really like and goes well with the mineral grey body colour
ACS say their spring kit will lower by about 10mm which does not seem alot
I would fit spacers as well say 15 and 12mm
I am not sure though if the spring kit will give me the wow factor and may be better off going for new alloys ... the Riviera RV 194 20" wheels in matt black look the business and there are many more to choose from.
I appreciate the spring kit also aids handling as well but 20" wheels with 10" rear tyres should grip
My dilemma... new springs ( which i do fancy) or alloys ....any pictures of a 4 series with ACS springs would be very welcome plus comments

Does it matter? You know once you’ve bought one you’ll end up buying the other as well!

if you're thinking it now your question is which should you get first. If it was a 435D I'd say ACS springs, as it's a 440i get wheels

hi Howard,

get the 20" BMW M Performance light alloy wheels Double-spoke style 624 M as they are stunning wheels, think once you get a great set of wheels then the ACS can take a back-burner.

Cheers

Hi Wayne
I think you are right, certainly after reading the thread above about ACS springs i will wait until the car is older and go for a premium spring and damper kit.
So its looking for new wheels...the 624 M looks good but i intend to pay a visit to LK Performance in Yorkshire
Many thanks to you and others

I had quite a crap experience with them when buying my wheels/tyres. I ordered over the phone and never got a confirmation email to see exactly what I was getting. They ended up sending me stock BMW tyre dimensions for the tears that were 10" and not the stock 8.5". Ended up with so much stretch that every place I took it to would say to get wider tyres. I called them and told them all this and the guy would keep saying he needs to speak to his manager and then never call back. There's a much longer story involving me then paying for a set of wider tyres, removing the ones LKPerformance supplied and then posting it back to them and then being told they can't do anything and they were sent back to me.

You'll probably not have many issues in person but I'd just say get anything and everything in writing.

I can't remember the profile so will double check when I'm with the car later and let you know.

Should improve the handling first then consider the cosmetics IMO
