100 octane?

There is a 100 octane pump next to my house (CA). Just wondering if anyone occasionally runs this? I have jb4 and er dp. My tune is set on auto tuner so it can adjust to this but wondering if anyone has or does this occasionally. Any advice would be appreciated. Are the gains worth it?

Since you have DP and JB4, you can put race gas in your are.
Make sure to select map 7 for max performance. You will also need an intercooler or else IAT will be really high and you will not be able to take advantage of the extra power available .

So I should run map 7 if I do 100 octane even if I do not have an intercooler? I just wanted to try it out once or use it once in a while

Yes you can run it without intercooler but car would not be performing like it should.

The flex fuel or mass fuel harness is only for E85 due to E85 maxing out fuel trims, etc. For race fuel you can run it without the harness, but you should run the race gas map on the JB4 and expect some adaptation before full effect. So if going to track make sure you put the race gas in a little before and do some pulls.

CA can't get 93 but can get 100. It's surprising they don't charge $10/gal for it.
