Looks like you'll have the first M-sport delivered

I think I'll be third, maybe first BSM in color?

Pics would be great!

wow you guys must get better programs on the west coast then what we get on the east coast. I am also a BMW center employee and my payment isn't that low and I built a car that is $4k less than yours and my payments are a bit higher than yours.

To continue the A123 battery discussion. Not necessarily BMW news, but surely impacts BMW in some way. Hopefully A123 is sold to Johnson Controls, NEC or Siemens.

wow thats a strong residual on the 24mo lease. My deal is structured a little different. I went the multi sec deposit route to buy down my rate to 0.0810 and I am also doing 15k/yr.

Debadged C pillars was the first "Mod". Detail guys did it. Only driven it once home and not much behind the wheel time till the clear bra goes on on Monday. Rain brings that rocks out! New Nav is similar but well executed. More updates to come once I actually get to engage with it more. There was a nic on the Door handle that needs to be fixed and also paint scrapes where the windshiled wipers are. Looks like the wipers were in repalcement position and someone lifted the hood. Not really noticible but will have the body shop touch up the two edges where there is no paint. No surprise, I've yet to have a perfect car. There is also something that I see at time of delivery.

Yeah, I meant black C-Pillars vs. Chrome...all of them are standard, colors/material vary.

BTW, congrats on a VERY HOT Active Hybrid 3...how's the MPG?...nice Kidney grille's, I got the same ones with the M Perf Exhaust.

I wonder what tuning outside of PPK can be done with the hybrid..

BMW would would not allow the Performance Exhaust to be installed at the port. Performance Brakes are allowed, but that is it. The other port installs allowed are the CF dash, Shifter, Mirror Caps, Sports Stripes.

Check your glovebox to see if you have the USB port. My new AH3 does not have one despite references to one being there in the owners manual for file transfers to the NAV hard drive.

700 miles in, I'm seeing 37 MPG highway in ECO Pro and as high as 40 MPG city in ECO Pro. In DS mode, I have seen as low as 16 MPG driving it like I stole it. This car is truly like having two cars in one with completely different personalities.

Debadging the c-pillars means taking this badge off:

Good to know. I guess I won't even try for the PPK

After 1200 miles Im getting 36 37 highway and high 30's city. Depending on traffic and how much Im willing to feather the gas and control the acceleration. One problem I am having is that sometime I can't change the mode fro sport, comfort, and eco pro. I called BMWNA and there is a recall on the car. Im bringing it in on Monday.
The car is a slug in eco pro. It does feel a little heavy while trying to maneuver. It is a very comfortable car. I love the hybrid screen. Its a game to try and keep ther car on derive and not use the gas engine.
