X6 M

Popped into the dealers yesterday & they had a X6M in the showroom which had a list price of £107K

I mean it was well specced & sounded lovely when the salesman started it but thats a hell of a price

Garage List
there was a nice one in Listers Kings Lynn, cheaper than the one you saw for £97k; looked through AUC cars, and there was one with 400 miles on the clock and up for £74K I think! eye watering depreciation!

No one will pay that, these can be discounted massively.

Nearly new example: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...us=1500&page=1

Yes you would be mad to pay the list price, but as a starting point its insane

Yes mate, where have you been M6GC and these X Ms all broke the 6 digit mark ages ago.

As others have said, bonkers and no one surely pays anything near that!

I'm sure some overweight, blind, carpet salesman will snap that up so he can park where he likes and shout, "look at me! I have a small knob".

Two posts like this just this week. Chip on your shoulder??

You do know Fiesta drivers think the same about your completely unnecessary BMW Gran Coupe? It's just a different perspective.

May be they do. But that doesn't bother me one jot as they are clearly mistaken given the 4 GC is, without argument, the most beautiful of the BMW range driven by the most attractive and stylish of the human race.

Any carpet salesmen here drive a 4 GC?
Thought not.

A lot more likely that a carpet salesman is driving a 4GC than an X6M, so I don't get what your superiority complex is based on.

You clearly added a 'y' to the name that your parents, friends and acquaintances gave you.

You need to up your trolling game, it's a bit bland.

Is that your best shot Nobby... Having a go at a guy for being enthusiastic about his car on a car forum? I should feel ashamed I suppose.

Anyway, I've got 3 cars to talk about, so I like to rotate them a bit. It's been more 330e chat this week mainly.

But surely there's more wit buried in there somewhere beneath that tough, crusty exterior that hides the real you with your soft, kind-hearted soul?

Lots of odd comments appearing on threads these days. I used to like the fact that this place was funny and not full of points scoring comments. Seems to be degenerating to what some people think a BMW forum would be like.

Come on guys, show them it's the Audi drivers that are like that. We don't all have to like each other but tolerating is ok...

Unfortunately it's been on a downward trend for a while in that regard. Still, 5 minutes on the Pistonheads forum reminds you just how tedious, pedantic, self-righteous, superior, and arrogant some car forums can be, so it's still nowhere near as bad as that.

I wonder if the new G20 UK board will be more like how this one was 3-4 years back...

I don't go near that place - apart from the tents and caravans bit (long story)

I guess that might depend on who buys a g20...? Or at least who is interested enough to go to that forum...

Probably nobody. They get it at a once-in-a-lifetime deal of £70k and think they've got themselves a bargain. Only to discover that it's barely worth £20k three years later...
