Performance rear section
Hi All,
Any one know for any reason why you can not fit the conversion single to twin performance exhaust end, (ie from the rear box) designed for the 2.0 diesel to the 2.0 petrol, the system looks the same? Thanks in anticipation. |

I came from a sti hatch with the spt exhaust and that exhaust was tiring on long drives.
I am getting the 6 speed, does any one know if there is any drone with the 6 speed, or as loud as the Subaru Spt exhaust at 70 mph highway speeds? thanks |

Does anyone know if the m performance exhaust for the f30 n20 works on the f32? I was told that it is interchangeable (part number: 18302293771) by a dealership so I ordered it. However, all the dealerships I called locally told me that the part number is for a f30 and the install isn't guaranteed to be successful. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for the vids. Convinced me to buy the exhaust before I even received the car. Love the sound of the exhaust and even more excited for how it'll sound after the downpipe and jb4 tune. [u2b]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLSBFdRCwc4[/u2b]

Had the MPE installed about 10 days ago (sorry, no video yet). Today I took my soon to his tennis match. Dropped him off by the pro shop and then pulled away to park far away from other cars. On the walk to the courts, a guy who works there came over and asked if the BMW is mine. Then he asked if I'd had an exhaust installed and wanted to know which one, where I'd gotten it, etc. I have to admit that it made me feel good.

Decisions decisions...
I'm missing the exhaust note from my G35 I had, and now I'm contemplating whether to get the M-Performance Exhaust for my 328i. Price isn't a problem, I can probably pay just over $1k installed (taxes in). But I want to hear it in person... Going to see if any local dealers here have a 328 with it installed, else anyone in BC want to give me a taste? |

The stock exhaust does sound louder also at cold start but then becomes dead silent when warmed up. |

But yeah, very rare you'd find a 328 with the MPE. And only a few dealers even have a 335/435 with the MPE! |

Is it relatively easy to swap back to the stock muffler? Can you just use the same clamp?

Just caved in and got the MPE installed. Sounds so much more deeper.
Only concern I have is when it shifts gears, there's this resonating that's especially pronounced if its only moderate throttle shifting from 2nd to 3rd. If its WOT, you get that typical shift sound from the exhaust (if you know what I mean) which sounds fine, no resonating. Maybe it'll settle down once I drive it a bit more? *Added a clip of start-up - bit of rattle when it first starts up, but clears after the valve closes when warm* Last edited by Tim@codemybimmer; 10-24-2014 at 10:48 PM.. |

I was just wondering if anyone else's exhaust valve rattles during the cold after start-up, until the valve closes within a minute or so?

Got mine and its too quiet. Has anyone tried deleting the resonator with the MPE?

Had my MPE installed for a couple of days now after 6 weeks on the stock exhaust.
My impressions? GET IT! (It makes SUCH a noticeable difference and really puts a smile on your face!). No drone. Sounds super deep on a cold start up. Great "blurp" sounds on gear shifts when at full throttle. Just all round sounds now like the car should have sounded the whole time. |
