doesn't look like its been posted yet (my mistake if it has) but over the past few days theres a thread going on in the f8x forums about this EVC controller which i guess was recently introduced by macht schnell

I noticed it is compatible with our f3x cars and was wondering if this is something worth doing or is of any interest at all

I understand its kind of like the golf tee mod but I like the idea of having control of the electronic flap instead of unplugging and jamming it open all the time

$500? For a stupid controller that does nothing but open the valve? I paid like $115 for the ExhaustMeister on my 750 that did the same thing. BMW screwed us over by going electronic and not keeping the vacuum valve.

When I was at EAS they tried it on a 4GC and it worked no issues as well as 228. Its a really slick module especially if you plan on running DPs

if anyone has vids of this type of thing or even just a golf tee mod on their 28s or 35s, would love if u posted a video. hard to find vids of f3x cars with force opened flaps and quite curious the difference it makes

I'll sell you my CG Precision controller for $200! Brand new! Installed it and took it right back off.

BMS stage 2 now has can flap control. Which is the same thing. You can control it open, close, or OEM mode.

Exactly, now that the JB has this ............ two birds / one stone.

I will admit though, the Macht Schnell piece is a stupid simple install and control.

lol yea, and id just rather let the car do it itself. but now that the JB4 can do it its perfect!
