Smile (F30) Official F30 INTERIOR Photos Thread

This is so exciting, after months of waiting and seeing everybody else on this forum take delivery of their BMWs, the time has come for me to shine. Hope you all like the pics, I think I might the first with a Mojave exterior and Black Oyster interior on the forum.

(F30) Official F30 INTERIOR Photos Thread

Took delivery this week....

320d Sport - Mineral Grey
- Pro Navigation Pack
- Interior Comfort Pack
- Visibility Pack
- Sport Auto
- 18" 397 Wheels
- Black Mirror Caps
- Sun Protection Glass
- Auto-Dimming Mirrors
- Front seat heating
- Aluminium/Black Trim
- PDC Front & Rear
- Shadowline Finish
- Anthracite headlining

Am about 300 miles in and so far so good, no vibrations that have come through and the 320d engine is superb - on about 48mpg for the 300miles!!

Still getting used to the iDrive system... coming from a W204 C-Class it is a LOT more complicated, but am getting there!

Minor gripes so far:
- Wing Mirrors... wish they folded automatically when locking
- Front PDC... wish this came on automatically below a certain speed like the merc
- speed of navigating iPod... it takes a while to search through and get to the tracks I am looking for
- the isofix anchors are quite far in from the door, meaning wasted space between door and seat and impact to the seating for others in the back.

Big plusses over the mercedes:
- Seats are a lot more comfortable
- Space for rear seating is massive in comparison; although boot (aka trunk!) seems smaller.
- Xenons are amazing!

F30 328i Luxury Line, Melbourne Red / Dakota Beige Leather with Walnut trim,
Premium, Tech, Window shades, Heated front seats, Fold-down rear seats, PDC/Reverse Camera, Xenon lights, and Assist.

I think the color is amazing. The color changes character dramatically with changes in light. It goes from a red/orange to a deep red depending on the amount and angle of the light.

Here are a few pictures; not the greatest quality (I only have a little point-n-shoot camera) and nothing that hasn't already been posted a hundred times already. Digital cameras just don't seem to do justice to this color compared to seeing it in person. I haven't seen a picture of it that really captures it.

Plus, this car is a real kick in the ass to drive; just incredible!

Car ordered on 5/6/12, still waiting for confirmed production date... agonizing over the wait, but the only thing consoling me are the awesome picture and threads in this forum. Keep em coming. In either case, any pictures of a AW, 6MT, black on alum trim with black highlights around?

Mineral white with red interior.

I haven't ordered any fancy packages. I only have Harmon Kardon music system, BMW Assist with Enhanced Bluetooth as extras.

Great interior. I've got the same floor mats as you RIC. They're heavy duty and the red piping complements the red highlights elsewhere in the cabin. BUT just like mine your dealer hasn't cut off the handling/display tabs at the top of your mats LOL

One of the best looking combos I've seen so far. "So fresh and so clean.."

Everest grey! Yes! That's what I ordered, and that's the first 'real life' shot I've seen of it. Would you mind posting some more? Seems it isn't a popular interior color.

Yes, it's also very painful to have it for a few days and then have to wait 6+ weeks to see it again. Ship arrives on Monday, 6/11, so end-game is in sight. The big variable is availability for scheduling PCD but I am keeping my schedule open for any day in late June or July 4th week..

Yes. Just cut the top tags, the side BMW tags stay. Oh, these aren't the heavy duty. Okay, but they're heavier than other floor mats I've had in other (non-BMW) cars including the ones we have for our current Audi Q5. Nevertheless, I love them and I think the Velcro attachment is a great idea (Or has this been standard fare on Bimmers for years??)

I have no clue if the velcro thing has always been there. I know on VW/Audi it has been a plastic lock either twist or snap in.
