Download songs from Iphone 4 to HD

Can you hook up the Iphone using the Y cable to the input in the glove box to download music from Iphone to HD?

Apple doesn't make it easy to pull things off an ipod or iphone on purpose. If you have the files on your computer you can transfer them to a usb stick and transfer from there.
