Just curious if you can figure what the true hourly rate cost would be per vehicle when all that is factored in to the equation?
Factoring in overhead and salaries, $75 per hour was the target for my shop to be profitable.

That's a subjective number though because it's going to depend on a lot of varying factors.

That makes sense then as I figured in LA the minimum would be $60/hr but at $75/ hr x 2= $150+$120ish materials would equate to a near $300 job (allowing for inefficiencies) so anything above that is profit and I can't begrudge anyone a 25% profit margin so say $375 for a good tint job?

Unfortunately- in LA that kind of reasoning doesn't happen in real life

Curious if you had any updates on this issue? I just had carbon ceramic tint done on my car the past Saturday and I'm experiencing the same issue.

Still there bro, I spoke with other tint shops and they said some cars experience this. What brand tint did you get?

It doesn't sound like a tint brand issue since I got 3m. I guess it just the way the car is to tint :/. What kind of bmw do you have?

I have the rear view issue. It has settled down a little until the film dried out but it's still there - I think it's a symptom of the rear heating elements - and also it's on and F31 so the rear window is more upright than the sedans and coupes so :

The installer says it happens on some cars and not on others depending on the thickness of the heating element.

It's just proved to me that factory tinted glass is way better solution. Won't buy another car without it.

Mine was llumar pinnacle 15
