Thanks for sharing! In my opinion, the F30 looks the best.. Do you own all of those cars? It would be pretty special if you did

Nice. Would be nice to see them together in daylight / brighter light, though. Hard to see much detail at night & in garage pics of these black cars.

i just took those pictures earlier today as i swang by the dealership for the paperwork...
the photos for the F30 and E90 were taken from the same distance... with the same zoom, to keep things as similar as possible, and allowing comparison...

Good Job Svache, i was too lazy to do it :P

Is it just me or does the F30 show so much wider than the E90 (in a positive manner)? I aslways disliked the E90 for it's smaller look in regards to it's predecesor. And still love the stance of the E46.

In my completely unbiased opinion the E46 still looks the best, and it probably always will.

And is it just me or does the F30 look like the size of 7er in te second picture.

I feel like the e46 and f30 are so much more similar! makes the e90 not even look like its in the same family.

I agree.

The E9x looks like the awkward one out of the 3.

Although, I still think the E46 has the best stance and appearance, especially in the rear.

Great post and hopefully we can see even better pics of these kinds of comparisons too!

What strikes me is that when viewed separately, I felt the F30 was an evolution of the E90 design. But with the E46 in the pics, I really agree with others who say the E90 looks like the odd man out. All great cars and very interesting to see how the F30 designer went back to the E46 for many of the refreshed styling cues on the F30...I did not see that as strongly until I saw them side by side.
