6WB LCI digital dash group buy

There has been interest expressed on a possible group buy so I reached out to Nelson@BimmerTech about this and here is what I heard.

1. 10 orders minimum
2. Prepay before all ship
3. 10% discount for the group buy
4. Prices are going UP SOON, as BMW raised their prices.

Do we have enough interest to pull the trigger on this? I candidly don't have the budget for this right now, but if we got a group buy, I would just do it anyway and cry about it later.

7 of 10 slots are taken, with committed PAID to Bimmertech. Next three in will win with the rest of us.

Also, Bimmertech has announced prices will be going up on Feb 1st, so we gotta get this done now.

Update from Nelson: "i will need each of them to contact them for compatibility. It’s not compatible with card with HUD* unless they have NBT EVo idrive sstem." So if we get enough interest, he will need to confirm compatibility with each of you. (*corrected original HID typo, meant HUD)

Well almost to half of the minimum so not too shabby.. This is still way more than I should spend, but really don't give a !#@$!@34@ right at the moment.

I really tried to care about how much this is but my car literally asks for this mod on a daily basis! It has to be done!

My damn heart sank when I saw this compatibility issue....HUD or HID? I hope it was a typo as I don't have the HUD but do have HID/Xenons lol. Don't do this to me Bimmertech! (toying with my emotions here haha)

I assume HUD as well, which I have.. I sent in my VIN, and here is what I got back:

"It's compatible but it does not fully support your head up display. The navigation info in the HUD does not display properly. You will have to disable it in your drive settings and use it in the Digital cluster."

I am still ok with that.

Bummer, my HUD won't display either - guess the main screen & cluster will have to do...

Anyone have pics or link as to what Nav looks like displayed in cluster?

HUD

You have to have NBT EVO for Nav to display properly in HUD with this cluster

"It's compatible but it does not fully support your head up display. The navigation info in the HUD does not display properly. You will have to disable it in your drive settings and use it in the Digital cluster."

Incorrect, this has nothing to do with the cluster, it has to do with Navi showing up on HUD.

i have a 2014 and HUD, i CAN'T get navi to show up on my hud, everything else works.. music.. cruise control, speed. i could however, get navi to show up in my cluster... see below:

After seeing that I don't care either if it doesn't show in HUD. Looks good as presented on cluster

I actually pay more attention to the Navigation screen on center dash display anyway...

So everything else that normally was displayed on HUD is still there, just no navigation directions correct?

Incorrect, this has nothing to do with the cluster, it has to do with Navi showing up on HUD.

So a couple of things.. I got an invoice from Bimmer Tech for the DISCOUNTED amount, but wont ship (and I haven't paid it yet) until all 10 orders are in and PAID.

That said, I also heard that prices will go up in two weeks or less, by an unknown amount at this time.

We are definitely on a timer here..

The 6wb cluster is pretty cool and I have driven a 17 340i with it but my goodness $1500usd.... you guys must have too much money! Lol
