Whats the purpose of these parts? Does it add structural rigidity to the car and improve steering feel?

Not sure if I can explain in english. Rear feel more solid than before. But you will not feel incredible improvment.

Thats what I figured. There is a company in Japan that makes the rectangular plate thats supposed to be more rigid. I was thinking about buying it to see if it helps.

If the F32 has these parts than wouldn't you think your car does too? Or does he mean F82...?

Sorry for not being more clear. Yes, my F36 has these parts but I was referring specifically to the Japanese frame brace plate. Its supposed to be stiffer than the stamped plate that our cars have. I know from my Audi days that using a stiffer brace helped to improve steering feel dramatically. I am not sure if it will have the same impact on our cars but thought it would be worth a try.

Hmm, that's interesting, since I came from an E90 (amazing steering feel) I am definitely up for mods that improve the feel on the F3X line.

Those shots in the OP are impressive. I'd like to see that same photographer shoot your car when you're done.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but these parts standard on the 4 series vehicles? And they are just direct swaps for our F30's?
