Tire Time...what to get?

Ok need some tire help here

Ordered my new wheels and suspension set up (info below)
So now I have to make a decision on some tires....

Suspension:
Dinan springs (added to my stock M Sport suspension with DHP)

Wheels:
F - 20 x 9 et 35
R - 20 x 10 et 35

What size tires??? Pretty sure I have to go 30 profile based on drop
235 or 245 width on front?
265 or 275 width on rear? Will 275 fit?

Which Tire? Any feedback on either of these

Go with a 245/35 and 275/30. I do that setup all the time the Hankook V12s and everyone loves them

I have that set up as well on Hankook and I am quite pleased with them. I never owned a Toyo tire so I cannot comment on them. The Hankooks are not ultra performance, but a good all around type tire. For the price they are hard to beat.

Ok thanks, so you think even with the springs I will be good with these sizes?

Where did you end up getting yours? I have never owned Hankook but owned Toyo years back. Overall I keep hearing good things about the V12's

I got mine with the wheels from Element Wheels in Phoenix. If you are just buying tires I heard they are not the best price, but since I got them on the Vossens I got a great packaged deal. My friend just bought them I thought from Discount Tire and I believe he said they were the cheapest he found.

My only complaint really about the V12 is cosmetics. I don't like the lines on the tread or on the outer edge. Makes it look like you are rubbing..LOL.. I sure wish Yoko made the AVS still. Those were my favorite from both a performance and look. The dots on the outer tread were immediately recognizable and a cool feature.

To be honest, your wheel offsets are too aggressive. I wouldn't recommend buying those offsets. The HRE 20x10 et40 wheel protrudes outside of the fender if you're only going to be dropping on dinan/hr sport springs so you'll be 5mm further out than that. In addition, if you buy your wheels and you go with a 245 35 20 and 275 30 20 setup, you will rub like there's no tomorrow.

Well too late on the wheels as they are already ordered and in the powder coat process....so I am pretty much stuck with them. The front offset should be fine and the back is a tad more aggressive but I have seen guys on here with et 20?

But your tire comments are what I was concerned about....what is your size recommendation

Yah I cant comment. I know on my rear set-up with a 10.5" ET42 and a 275/25 I rubbed a little until I added camber. I am actually going to go down to a 265 I think once these wear out so I can tuck a little more. Im a tucker kind of guy.

no way you want to run 25 series. not sure you even can, it would just look really dumb. I have the dinans and a 245/35 and I rub quite a bit in the front. It's on a 20x8.5 et35 front.

Should work fine! Your overall diamater is 25.79 with setup. Only thing is you are running 30 series front and back.

I think this is my problem with this tire....I am not hot on their look? That and they didn't rate all that high on Tire Rack's Budget max performance comparison...yet I still here good things about them.

I keep coming back to these Toyo T1 Sports.... they look like the Michelin PSS and they are a decent value...about same price as Hankook v12's and I can get them through a dealer so I won't have to mess with shipping and all that.

Yah not all season at all. Once it hit say 40 degrees I was breaking them loose and when it snowed the first couple of times, it was doable but risky. I left them on for the first couple of snows because I wanted to try them out. Car and Driver I thought ranked them 2nd in their test. That's what kind of tipped me over to get them.

http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...12-evo-page-10

They do wear fairly well. My fronts still look brand new (8,000 miles). The rears are about half. I was having some fun getting use to having a RWD car again...

Why would you want all-seasons? Does it snow in your part of Tampa?

Ok good I didn't think they were all season...I live in FL so don't need an all season tire. Walmart website listed them as all season......but should have known better than to believe them.

That's funny about the comparison....I guess one thing to note is the Car and Driver test was in 2009....the Tire Rack is 2011 with different competitors.

Again not knocking the Evo at all.....it's on my top choice list just trying to make a decision so I appreciate the feedback

Believe me it is a tough decision for me as well. Only the Toyo Proxies 4 were an option in my size (or at least who I got my wheels from) and they were 100 bucks more per pair so I gambled with the cheaper route since a 328 does not have crazy hp to really break the wheels loose on a 275.

I have the Hankook Ventus V12 in:

245/35 R20 - F
275/30 R20 - R

Couldn't be happier. I also have H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein B8's, wheels are ET 35 (front) and ET45 (rear) and no rubbing issues, but I realize these are slightly different offsets than you have.

Best of luck...
