I'm going to hold off and see if others like it and how the dino numbers turn out. Also give it a bit of time to let the whole part number issue shake out and ensure that they dealer isn't going to screw up the ECU part of it.

Me too .. since its only a 10% increase in HP and I'm not super in love w/ the loud exhaust thing I can wait for a good deal when the demand dies down or a dealer offers a great deal..

I'm going for it as soon as I can get confirmation on the part number and get a decent price. I think it's a really cool that BMW is offering an integrated tune/exhaust package, I like the way it sounds, and I think the perf bump is going to be just right for me at this stage in my car's life. I also think the value proposition is in-line with aftermarket alternatives (tune + full exhaust) once you account for warrant considerations. Given all that I'm not going to delay satisfaction over a couple hundred bucks on price.
My sense is we'll get the part number issue sorted out soon, and all will be good. At this point I've gotten contact info for a BMW NA product manager in charge of the M Perf program, and I've let them know dealers are having issues with this. I hope that helps get it cleared up. |

I got mine installed over the weekend and it sounds amazing! Based on the prices you guys are getting in 'merica I'm even happier.

I see you have a '16 so you would have had to buy the kit separately. How much did it cost you here here in Canada? I've been quoted $4,200 - $5,000 by different dealers.

Yes I just purchased it. I elected to go with the carbon fiber tips got it installed and rolled into my lease and since I was able to take advantage of the 1.1% lease rate and had it added to my monthly payments. I got 20% off the parts and paid 1.5hrs labour to have it installed. I'll have to look at my bill of sale to give you the exact amount. Unfortunately since it was done at the dealership and not at the port it didn't factor into the residual.
