They're not exactly adaptive in the way BMW implements it (side to side swivel), there's an additional light that turns on to light additional portions of the road when you turn, but yes it works without any coding.

The DRL is LED rings + an LED light where the high beam normally is.

Are these the same as the _______ headlights? They all look exactly the same; it does look very good though. I'm very close to upgrading my halogen to one of these headlights.

Edited my post. My bad lol

Do any of you happen to know what the life span is for those LED rings?

i already see the oem lci led headlights for 600 per side on ebay! I hope this means more people can do some nice retrofits.

That is a bare housing. Meaning there's no LED modules or any LED lights inside of it. All in all it'll be around $2500+ for both headlight housing and the modules installed. That's a lot.

Thats true, i did not read that part of the description. I guess its still a bit high in price but i bet theres people willing to do it anyway. Either way hope the led headlights in this thread get cheaper and more affordable for more people stuck with the halogens.

Doubt it, this is an expensive technology that's still fairly new. Unlike the EE lights, these will probably stay in this price range. I'm more or less going to hold out and see if they last, then maybe when tax time comes, I'll decide on these or doing a full oem xenon retrofit since I know where to get a complete set for not much over the price of these

I agree with that, these will not drop to the $300 range like the EEs, but they should see the sub $1000 price point at some time.

Finger across and credit cards ready for that

Holding out on lower price as well.... although I may get tempted to do it sooner rather than later.

Well, if I can get another 19 members to go in with me, I think I can get it down to around $1200 a set shipped. I got some quotes for about $950 for a set for a minimum order of 20 sets before shipping.

You should start a new thread on this. If 20 or more people were in and we could get the lights at $950 a set, I would definitely be interested...

Guys,
i was thinking of getting these aftermarket ones, but as i didnt like the orange markers on the sides i kept looking for more options.

Then i came across this:

Did you guys ever check this one out?

You can even find on the fb page https://www.facebook.com/Elebest-PTE...1254523965433/

Edit: on their fb page i found "All BMW F30 and F30LCI: Your ALH Adaptive LED headlights retrofit kits (plug & play) are available for ordering.
Max Yao"

Well, considering that quite a few members are all over the world on this forum, the logistic cost is going to cost a little bit over the quote amount.
The quote I received is $950 before shipping. I have a logistic provider in Shanghai, who can take the 20 sets, and mail it out to each person. The total cost will be $950+shipping whatever that may be.
I am not making a single buck, just trying to get a set cheaper to put on my car, same as most people on this forum
PM me if you are interested, it will have to be prepaid because I do not have a spare $19k to cover 20 sets of these
Thanks.

Please add me to the group buy as well. $1500 isn't too bad considering it's plug-and-play, but I can wait for a group discount. PM'ed.
