Nothing, which will give you the same 'bang for bucks' (as the saying goes) compared to your BMS JB1. You could, of course, team it up with a performance exhaust, but from what I have read, 'performance' is a bit of a misnomer.

Sure you might get a few whp and extra torques, but the performance part is mainly vocal performance from the exhaust note. Nothing to scoff at, but not going to enhance acceleration performance terribly much, if at all. Not really designed for it.

There are intake upgrades, but again, not much in the performance gains there either. However, teaming all these upgrades together should add to the seat of the pants feeling of extra overall performance.

Don't forget to use the best RON fuel you can get your hands on.

A catback exhaust will help(mine dyno'd at 7whp/20ftlbs of tq), and if you want to go for more, a downpipe and then wait for the BMS stage 2 tune. You will be knocking on the door of 300whp and approach the high 12's at 106+mph.

Add a downpipe and/or wait for Stage2.

That means you leave the first sensor alone and the rest should follow the guide.

You just need a 10mm socket to loosen the bolt of the negative terminal.

Stage 2 hasn't been developed yet.

Practice driving to get the most out of your tune. A fast car with a slow driver is still slow isnt it? Anyone agree?

That's not necessarily true. For example I don't want to race anybody, I just want lots of torque at low rpms.

From http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18588,
"Initially the upgrade kit will be available only to automatic F30s who have the pneumatic boost solenoid. You'll add a few wires to the harness and replace the control box with the new JB4 module. We expect to price it the same as the E90 N55 Stage2 upgrade @ $175.".

So there you have it, $175 upgrade from stage 1 to stage 2.

I think they're referring to the N55 Stage 2, and not the one for the N20?

The $175 upgrade is a point of reference so I'd expect an N20 one to cost the same.

Sorry, Didn't see that you are N20. Like you suggest, the pricing is probably similar.

So the N20 Stage 2 will also increase hp/lb-ft over Stage 1 or it will just add more features?

I'd think there would be a hp/torque increase - otherwise it wouldn't be a "Stage 2". The issue is just how tapped out the turbo is already at the Stage 1 level, and I'm assuming this because stock boost pressure is around 18psi already.

How much more power can be squeezed out while being a safe/reliable tune?

Mods have been coming REALLY slow for the N20. Its such a big market i have no idea why are manufacturers dragging their feet on making products.

So far theres still no flash tune, no intercooler upgrade kits, and no oil cooler upgrade kits

Helix already did a fitting of an intercooler to their in house N20, so thats coming soon. There are 2 intakes, soon to be 4, 5-6 exhaust options, 3-4 tuning options, that is not bad. It's the suspension that is lagging, still no sway bars being offered.
