Fitment question, which would work better?
Looking at two different wheel sizes for a staggered setup on my '17 340i (RWD) M Sport/Track pack. Stock adaptive suspension w/Dinan Shockware. Might go with the Dinan springs as well down the road, but for now stock ride height.
Front Wheel: 19x9" ET35. Probably would go with a 235/40/19 P4S tire. Considering the 245/40/19 size as well, but am concerned about rubbing. Rear Wheel: 2 Options: 1) 19 x 10" ET40 2) 19 x 10" ET38 I know that there is very little difference (2mm) on these offsets but which would give the most "perfect" fitment? I want to be as perfectly flush with the wheel arches as possible without any poke. I also don't want any clearance or rubbing issues. Tire choice on either of these rear wheels would be 265/35/19 P4S, though I would consider going to the 275/35/19 Pilot P4S if it would clear safely. Also, since I'm considering putting in the Dinan springs and bumpstops, I need to "future proof" the setup as much as possible. Thoughts? |

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=741571 http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...=dinan+springs read through these while you wait for someone with a similar setup to chime in. personally i'd get the +40 offset. if you are going to be slammed(wheel lip right near the top of fender), 235/265, if not(>20mm of gap), 245/275. i have seen pics of dinan drop and believe you can do 245/275. edit: noticed many w/dinan have an appearance of slight reverse rake (the rear is lower than front) so 275 might be close Last edited by alohasurftoad; 10-18-2017 at 02:54 PM.. |
