My gut instinct says this shifter would be a perfect fit for the F3x. I have looked at real OEM and it seems like it should fit well. I'm wondering if there is any way to confirm this.

Any insight would be great!

I would assume its fitment would work, but would probably require some wiring modifications to get it to be illuminated.

But the manual M shifter isn't illuminated right? I thought it was the same when I looked at real OEM

I'm pretty sure someone told me the f80 was illuminated even though it looked identical.

This seems to confirm it:

F80 shifter is illuminated. I'm working on wiring it in my f30.
