Worst Case Scenario for TPMS?? $$
I am about to purchase a 2012 328i. The only thing notable wrong with it is the TPMS is not reading. What's the worst-case scenario to have it fixed if the dealer refuses to do anything about it? TIA.

the worst case scenario is that your RDC module that lives in the car and reads the TPMS sensors is bad, I believe that costs about $150 used and $400 new. that's just off the top of my head, maybe someone can add to this.

I replaced the TPMS sensors on my 2011 X3 this week. It was $233 OTD. Additional info here:

TPMS could be the least of your problems. Have the timing chain, guides and tensioner been replaced? If not do you have at least a four year/50k mile zero deductible drive train warranty? That said, if he even considers selling a car with TPMS that doesn't work I'd move on. And let me guess...only one fob?
