In an effort to spread accurate information, I want to share what I have learned about options deleting the driver's side storage pocket.
While ZDB (Driver Assistance Plus) does sacrifice the storage pocket for Lane Departure, Blind Spot, and Collision Warning switches; ZDA (Driver Assistance Package) does not delete the pocket. I also learned that since 5DF (Active Cruise Control) incorporates Collision Warning, ordering 5DF will delete the pocket even without ZDB. Since 5DF is an absolute must have for me... I ordered the pocket so I can relocate the Collision Warning switch and gain the storage back. The parts were $70 shipped. Hat tip to the member azwillnj who made research easy with his thread: Retrofitting drivers side glove box instead of assist buttons + a wireless charger! http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=901534" rel="" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.f30post.c...p?t=901534</a>" rel="" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://<a href="http...901534</a></a>

Great deal but...
I would love to get a deal like that. Did you drive a 335 m and were you happy with the steering and handling ? My dealer doesn't have a 335 with m or sport with dynamic did drive a 435 m but heard they handle better stiffer than the 335 m. Neither car drove as nice as my 2007. Fast but not in love with the steering . A dealer told me 2013 335is still has hydraulic steering that I crave. Any insights ? Thanks

Just curious, but have you seen the amount of storage you get from that drawer?
Not that you asked, but I have not regretted getting the DA Package and loosing that tiny amount of storage. The only thing I can think you would use it for was change, but since I don't smoke, I just use the ashtray. Parking tickets, etc. can go in the holder in the sun visor, and pretty much anything else you would use in a car would t fit in there...

Since I use the car for business, it is essentially my office, so I spent a solid hour just running the Technology Package through its paces.

Received production number 1/24 and was told that my expected production date was the first week on February, but yesterday Track My BMW moved my car into Production Begins status!
