Because I didn't want the 320!!! I want the power when I want it. I've owned M3's before too, and I can extract an above average amount of miles out of the tank when I want to, but when I desire to 'get on it', I want that option as well. I don't need to exercise speed on surface streets every day; that's the behavior of irresponsible driver's (..and I ticket people for doing just that). There are better places to exercise those demons.

Thanks for your concern though.

I can only get over 350 miles per tank if i drive to Vegas (3.5 hour hwy)

Usually i get 300 miles per tank 50/50 city/hwy (Never Eco, 90% Comfort)

Did the officer mark it correctable or non-correctable? Lately the trend has been to mark potentially correctable violations (..i.e...no front plate, tinted windows, etc.) as non-correctable so that you have to pay the full fine, and are unable to have the ticket signed off.

Put in 15.8+ gallons.

Almost all driving in eco pro with stop start engaged. 10% state highways (no interstate) and 90% city.

These numbers include the idling when the salesperson explains all of the settings, screens, etc. on a new car.

Drove like an old person (which I am).
Interesting. I have run my 328i down to an indicated ~20 miles remaining and I only pump about 14.5 gallons. Does the 4 series have a slightly larger tank?

Same tank size as the 335i. I've run my car down to 0, and it still didn't pump a full 16.

Nor have I ever "pumped a full 16"...That would be quite impressive.

You guys are cute with your 38 degrees. It was -10 here the other day, not including wind chill.

Was -5 earlier this morning out here in Chicago area without windchill. I would love 38 deg. this way lol.

And on my 320i, I'm averaging around 420 per tank, 80% of the time highway.
