Will my car be the first F30 LEMON??

Alright, So I finally decided on starting the process with the Lemon Law. I sent the certified notification to the manufacturer for failure to fix the steering wheel vibration issue.
Every time I talk to someone from BMW, they have no clue as what to do
!! It's been over a month now and the sad part is I've driven loaner cars more than my own car!!

I am totally disappointed but I've waited longer than I should. Their ONLY bright idea was: let's balance the wheels over and over and over again and may be that will fix it. Shame on BMW!!

No I am going to file a lemon law also on my 335i due to the fact that water is coming inside my car, from the shark fin, it's been in the shop for over a week and it is the 3rd time that they are trying to fix it, how are you going about with your process?

It really depends on your state. Just google Lemon Law in your state and follow the steps required.
In my state I have to notify them in writing and give them a chance to fix it or go to the next step. This process could take between 2 and 3 months sometimes. So I suggest you start as soon as possible.

What are you guys going to do once they take your car back?

Another BMW? Or a change of brand?

You might want to get a 2013 335i instead as all the problems have been fixed recently. Mainly the cars produced before March had this problem but not the new ones..

I have not decided yet. Honestly, I hope they could fix my car. I love it. But if they don't step up and do that, then I will keep all my options open including Mercedes and Audi.

Audi and MB does handle buy back a bit better than BMW, not that it matters because no one should ever have to go thru that in the first place.

Yep.. and when I talked to the low level girl from BMWNA and asked who else I can talk to, she says, "well, no one. I am your contact."

GREAT. THAT'S HELPFUL!

Your Jetta D-lux looks nice but no where as nice as the F30.

Same company, different dealer. I would have preferred yours over mine.

I'm really sorry you are having all these problems. I really want an F31 but I don't want problems! When you say you are sick of BMW do you mean your dealership or BMW the manufacturer?

Probably both.

The manufacturer is worthless and dealerships are always hit or miss. Hopefully you'll have one that actually likes to retain its customers.

Yea I mean both, the BMW headquarters can't do sht since each BMW dealership is independently owned and run, my cuzin bought a 7 series and her locks weren't working and kept locking her out and it was a brand new car, my friend had a 650i that the wires caught on fire, many problems, you would think for all the money you are spending your going to get something nice but not true. And dealers are only your friend when you are purchasing a vehicle, because they want to make a sale but after that they forget your name.

Yep. Once you're locked into a contract, they could not care less.

BMW probably lost out on my wife and I each getting a new car every 2 years for the forseeable future.. after her current lease is up, we're done. We'll switch to MB, Audi or something else.
