Thanks for the replies guys, kudos.
Such a great day to take pictures but the car is filthy and the car wash is closed so I'll give it a go tomorrow! |

I did not know this as I've never had ASS in any of my cars. So, if one starts a journey in stop-start traffic in freezing conditions, I'll be ASSless for a bit of time. Nice to know.

I always find it's best to be warm if you want some ASS. Cold ASS is fraught with all sorts of dangers and can severely damage your big end or your cam shaft. I've even heard of bent rods being caused by too much cold ASS.

On a serious note though, I was on the verge of taking the car back because it wasn't working, until I realised the reason why! |

There speaks a man of great experience. I would hate my big end or my shaft to get damaged. I sincerely hope activation of my ASS does not cause any other undue problems. Should I de-activate it for London driving? Your advice would be much appreciated. I suppose de-activation is the best form of protection.

The lines just ... "work".

It did 46MPG going, both settings from "COLD" , so NO button pressing/re-setting when warmed up.

Yep agreed, the 330d is a fine engine, but the estate better looking than the saloon...?? You've been sniffing those diesel fumes

John, have you got a pic of the corona lights in the dark?
Am looking forward to seeing mine very much and also how good are the adaptive headlghts, is it just foglights like other marques or something better?
