Private buyer, he wanted my exact spec but didn't want to wait 12 weeks and BMW were messing him around offer wise (they'd only offer him 5% discount).

Very similar to mine, though I have a few options extra but not the pano roof.
Brand new it was under 40. Good luck with getting 38 I'm afraid, fair play if you do!! |

My first quote would have had me paying £47600 for the car I eventually paid £39400 for.

Reasons for selling are several
1 we have a baby and another on the way. Already if we all go somewhere other than a quick trip to shops or mothers then the Discovery gets used. 2 It's not got the soul to be just a toy and with junior in the car i don't get to enjoy the power. 3. We are prob moving house soon and so a cheap van (prob a VW T5 and convert it to camper after house move) and not having the repayments I currently have would be more beneficial 4. I always get itchy feet after six months with every car (except the discovery for some reason). Worst case is I keep it and thats not exactly a bad place to be either. Weighing up the options really |

You can but I'd imagine it's only a small portion of sales were greater than 15% discount.
I'm tempted at the minute too... The 4 series deals aren't quite high enough yet though. Finnie... I'd love a Discovery. Does everything we need it to do. Had a freelander for the day and didn't care much for it. The whole time I wished I'd gone for the discovery instead. |

The discovery is great. It does almost 30 mpg, is mega comfy and goes anywhere. We drove the bmw almost exclusively for the first week and then took a 60 mile trip in the disco. Couldn't believe how nice it was. Cruises at 70 easily and silently with nice big armchairs to wallow in. Baby getting jolted around is the cornering limit so the disco is just fine.
Hence why I either get a toy (maybe go as high as 4 seat coupe) or go down the van/camper route. Anyway, back on to the subject, willing to accept interest in the 335d |

A few reasons
I fancy a petrol manual car again It was bought as a family car but we are finding that the discovery is used much more, it's turning into a bit of a driveway ornament, might as well save some money and have a driveway toy! Two birds and one stone and all that. I'll be sad to see it go but looking forward to having a nice golf R toy |

BMW just valued my 435i at under £32k for PX, 6 months old with less than 2k on the clock and almost fully loaded, invoice price was £49k, I paid £44k

Three weeks ago I got offered 34500 from BMW.
Not another R, yes I'm afraid so, mainly as I just miss the a petrol manual so much. No other car around with such good reviews and at such good deals. Then again the 5 month waiting list is bad. Considered a M135i but I think it's too like the F31 inside. I would just be reminded all the time that I had traded down. ALso the options are far too expensive, the golf comes with almost all as standard. The golf will be a whole different experience. |
