Charge Pipe, Charge Pipe, Charge Pipe, can not stress it enough when adding more boost. If you're just looking to add a bit more power with a piggy back you don't have to mess with once installed, I am about to offer the tune I had before getting the JB4 for sale for a real good price. I was Very happy with it but wanted all the capabilities, bells and whistles of the JB4.

Downpipes are illegal in California anyway so Borla Catback intercooler charge pipe and considering just getting cables and doing a tune with the MHD app on Android looks super user-friendly compared to the JB4 which I know nothing about.

I ran 12.2@112 with jb4 dp cp and e30. Then i ran 12.2@116 spinning bad after adding ic and e40. Ive added quite a bit more since but havent gone back to the track.

Not trying to dissuade anyone from getting a down pipe but, it smells BAD w/o the stock cat. I went with the DP for the value (dollar per hp) and to liven the exhaust note. It sounds awesome between 1.5k - 4K rpms; has just enough rumble for sportiness but nothing to draw unwanted attention. However, the smell is pretty embarrassing. I often go out and have valet park/bring my car, drive with the windows down, park in a garage and the smell is nauseating - both figuratively and physically. It reminds me of a ricer Honda.
To me, the extra hp doesn't warrant the smell. I'll have mine taken off within the weeks to follow.

The Agency exhaust is probably gonna run a few hundred dollars more than the Borla, unless you get it from a second hand seller or eBay like I did for like $300 less than list price. Which could be why my fitment wasn't the greatest until I took it to a custom exhaust shop. IMHO I think the Borla sounds great with its deep tone, but it gives the car an American muscle sound where the Agency exhaust gives it that European Exotic sound. It's all a matter of personal preference and it's hard to make an honest decision based on video sound clips that don't do justice. You'll most likely be happy with whatever exhaust you choose. Like I said in my earlier comment, I spent countless hours listening to sound clips. All of the top brands and mods to the stock exhaust over and over again and again. I was two days from pulling the trigger on the Borla and then I came across the Agency Power Exhaust. I was able to make my decision with one listen of the Agency exhaust. It sounds even better on my car than YouTube and I couldn't be happier.

The shops around me here in the Bay area or Sacramento have no idea about this issue there are scratching their heads when I ask if they can replace it with aftermarket?

JB4 Most people are saying run map 5 but I think map 2 will be safe too with my setup but will see.

I have a Borla Attak exhaust giving my 335i RWD some gumble on going up to 2000 rpm then letting off the gas with a nice whosh sound from my AFE CAI. Just purchased my MPPK so it should pair up nicely with that Borla and deepen those burbles adding some nice backfire. Now I need to find a place to install my MPPK in the Sacramento area. Elk Grove quoated me $1200 just on labor 😲..9/12 build.

It sucks because isn't that upgrade mainly software related minus the intake and engine cover lol
