I thought that was the regular invoice and not the ED invoice?

I found that Lauderdale BMW was the only one willing to deal. CA is Mark Wang, he is cool and always responds to text. The miami dealers are difficult and some places I felt like I got profiled as not a buyer, maybe because I look young or maybe because I wear shorts, T-shirt and slippers.

BMW is one of the best cars to lease, and much of that is because of how generous BMW is with lease turn in's.

Any big damage you can get fixed by your insurance co.
I would NOT get this coverage unless you know you don't take care of your cars and you'll be getting huge dents and seat tears.
This a dealer profit program.
Hi Im new to the BMW world coming from an Infiniti G35 and I'm axiously awaiting my 335i order. I was questioning this protection because of tire wear factor. I will be leasing my car at 12k miles per year for 36 months. How do the stock tires hold up if I am not burning rubber all the time? I know the run flats can be upwards of $300 per tire and the dealer is offering this protection plan for about $10/month.

Anyone have a good salesperson to talk to in SoCal? I'm in SD but wouldn't mind heading a bit north for a good deal.

Thanks in advance!

Some of these America. Prices make me sad (happy for you guys, but sad for u up in Canada).

I got about $1000 over invoice. Lease
black sapphire, 328i luxury
$4400 down
$704/month
24k km's with tint and protection plan

Pitting dealership against dealership felt dirty but saved me tons of $ for
Their "rock bottom" offer.

I'm lazy and don't want to do the reverse math. What's your MF?

And i'd skip cap reduction. Lost money if you the car is ever totaled or stolen. Put it into MSD's if it's just burning a hole in your pocket.

basic deal

I'm not sure how bad I did but I'm really horrible at the whole deal thing.

328i
Premium Pkg
Tech Pkg
Heated Seats
MSRP 42795
10K

Cap: 41455
Not sure of residual percent but the cost is high 27's.

Down: (including license, fees, etc. plus first month)
$2400

Monthly:
535 w/tax

I know I could've definitely put less down but my job is freelanced base and I have always managed to do better financing with set monthly budget limits (low 500s). I know I could've def held onto that money and put it in a cd or whatever and used that specifically for the lease fund. But, I've tried that before and usually just spend the money.

So did I do horribly? I feel like I should've fought harder for 12K (though I don't really plan to drive all that much, I still feel like it was warranted) and probably tried to shoot for 1000K over invoice. I know it's weird, but I was actually happy with my deal until I started hearing about other people's deals.

Any tips, clairty would be appreciated. Thanks!

What's the $300 BMW App discount? Is that a result of being a BMWCCA member, too, or did you basically just negotiate $300 off the price with the dealer?

Any other savings advantages out there? Trying to find them all.

I know about $1K over invoice, doing ED to save the roughly $3K additional, $500 rebate from BMW CCA (been a member with no interruptions for the last 6 years), and that's all. I also know of doing MSDs, but I don't have the free cash available to do that.

Any others?

If you have some money to put into it - use it as multiple security deposits, it will save you on the interest, and you will get it back at the end of the lease.

If you are up for a road trip - email me, I can try to work out a better deal...

Base
Tech
Hk sound
Back up camera
Variable steering
BMW assist
Heated seats
Security alarm
Split seats

Then added some gap insurance and appearance coverage. ( reading the thread the appearance coverage was probably a waste)

Texas tax and owners choice (balloon with option to give back)

Total price with tax about 47k
Traded in old a last string Audi for down payment of 10k

Final finanaced price 37k

36months/360000miles

$400 per month exactly

Low payments but gave up my dying Audi and had to sacrifice prem package and now no angel eyes.

Could have been worse but could've been better

This thread is awesome and in three years will be studying prior to shopping. next time no trade and looking to get loaded with tech for mid 600s. Goo to know its do-able.

My deal

I have a status 112 order in for a 2013 F30. I'm taking delivery at the Performance Center in September.

Here's the car and deal:

2013 F30 328i Sedan
475 Black Sapphire Metallic
ZSL Sport Line
ZPP Premium Package
ZDH Dynamic Handling Package
ZTP Technology package
ZDA Driver assistance package
ZDB Driver assistance plus
494 Heated front seats
688 Harman Kardon surround sound
ZLP Lighting package
302 Anti-theft alarm
4CE Anthracite Wood Trim
4DM Highlight trim finishers pearl gloss chrome
LCL4 Everest Grey Dakota leather with Black highlight
2A5 18” alloy wheels
3DZ Without lines designation
ZMT Manual transmission
ZPT Performance Summer Tires

MSRP: $53,170
Invoice: $49,010
Sale price: $48,060
Acquisition fee: $925
Doc fee: $472
Tax on MSD: $162.66
Residual: 61%
MF: 0.00145
MF w/ MSD: 0.00096
MSD: $4,200
Payment: $537.92
Payment w/ 3% tax: $554.06

Total upfront was $4,200 for MSD, $554.06 for first payment and $634.66 in fees.

I realize I could have gotten a 335i for slightly more money but I wanted the better fuel economy of the 328i. I have a 328i now and it has more than enough power for me.

Yup, with MT the 328i rates at 3 and 4 mpg better.
AT in both is currently rated the same 23/33.
Those 2 over drive gears really help with the AT.

With that MSRP, your monthly looks great.
My 335i Msport MSRP is a teeny bit over $52K, and my monthly with max MSD's is a bit less than yours.
With the $1000 drive money, I'm only $500 below invoice.
But my doc fee is about $200, and acquisition is $725.
And I'm only doing 10K miles per year, and my sales tax is 7%.
I'd say your deal is GREAT!
That's one WELL equipped and loaded 328i.

So, we're doing pretty well I'd say.

BTW, why are you paying more than your 3% sales tax on your MSD's?
4200 x 3% = $126.
