The world is changing and consumers require more choice, differentiation and customization these days.. Quiet simple!
BMW has to cater for that.
The car will look great I believe..

the E90 M3 actually performs better in some cases since it's more rigid than the E92 M3.
I like both the 2 door and 4 door version M3, I just hope BMW does not make some thing called M4...

Like the car in camo. And it looks better than F30 when it was in camo. I think BMW is trying to do crazy things with too many products. and we will see decline in quality. It's inevitable. And I don't mean necessarily car quality in terms of reliability (although it can suffer too) but most likely design, fun factor, and other reasons we love BMW cars for will start to disappear.

wow...this's probably by far the best prototype testing video that i've seen.
I really enjoy watching the car being pushed hard like an actual race.
great vid.
I like the vid, but not the car & its name. stupid idea if you have to ask me.

Okay so there is now a car with the practicality of a sedan with the styling of a coupe. What about people that want the style of a sedan with the impracticality of a coupe. Why isn't this niche addressed!?!?!? I want a 4 series gran sedan!!

I think most pple are confused why 3 series sedan doesn't look like 4 series GC. This way there would only be need for 1 series, the 3!!!!! Seriously why build "ugly sedan" and then "best looking sedan" on the base of the ugly one?

+1. I bet it will be very expensive though, so I am not too excited, but I think it will be a hit

Correct. I will look no wider than the B pillar on the 6erGC.

Accounting for that, the central B-pillar looks to be the same width as the F30, and I suspect the rest of it is camo to hide the fact that the 4GC will have frameless glass, a la the 6GC and other BMW coupes.

Lol, but its true lol.

On another note, the exhaust note, it's amazing how good these cars sound until BMWs marketing dept neuters them and they become near soundless.

/scratches head

So the 3GT is a 5 door 3 series and the 4 GC is a 4 door coupe (without a hatchback boot lid) that looks identical to the 5 door hatch but isn't.

I thought I'd finally got this range but the 4GC just completely throws me. Hatchback looks without the convenience of a hatchback?

Very little difference. Pretty much the same piece of sh**. All that is going to cannibalize the sales of existing BMW models. Just so BMW can participate in a niche category/market.
