Check if Dinan Shockware is actually installed?

So dealer have had issues with Dinan Shockware installations where installing the software would mess up the EPS...long story and they have to remove the shockware and reinstall and so on... Eventually, i was told it was resolved but I'm not entirely sure I can feel the difference....

I was wondering if there's a way to actually check if the software there. I've asked the dealer and they of course said it is installed, but from my extensive experience working with the mechanics and being familiar with their competency, i would feel much better if i can somehow verify that it is installed.

Have you tried contacting Dinan to see if they can advise you?

Dinan tech support today told me basically...no. There's no way to check within the "code". They did tell me when it was installed but that doesn't mean it still there because I know when my steering rack was installed, the dealer had to reset the EPS and car's ECU which wipes out the Shockware. Presumably, it was re-installed...but again, I really don't trust my dealer's mechanics...long story.
