My First Coding!!
I did it!!! Just coded and tested my first options, and I'm ecstatic to say they worked! Have to give a big thanks to shawnsheridan! Could not have done it without his help. Here's what I did:
Convenience Closing - I love the convenience opening feature, but honestly I'm not sure what the whole point of it is. I'm assuming it's to let the breeze in and cool down the car before you get in, but that doesn't really work down here in South Texas, if anything it would only get hotter With that being said, the weather here in STX is pretty sporadic, so the convenience closing feature will be a lot more beneficial to me. There have been plenty of times this feature would have come in handy, being that I leave my vent open at work or at home and it will start raining out of nowhere! Now instead of having to run out and get in the car to close the roof, I can do it from the comfort of my window! What do you guys use these features for? Enhanced Bluetooth - This one was a little trickier for my first time, since I had to change the FA, but with careful treading and thorough instruction, I managed. At first I wasn't sure I did it correctly because my car wouldn't stream the audio, but I disconnected and reconnected the bluetooth on my phone, and it worked! Not sure how often I'll use this feature, as I mainly listen to Alt Nation/XMU on SXM, but this will definitely benefit my friends since they always wanna listen to their music in my car and complain that my BMW doesn't have Bluetooth standard I think my next tasks will be to disable the warm/cold checks to replace my turn signals with LEDs (once I get my new xenons from Mike at XPH), and possibly enable the 2TB sport automatic feature. I've heard that one is a lot of fun! EDIT: Sorry, totally didn't realize what forum I was in, probably should have posted this in the Coding forum.

Haha, it's really cool actually. At first I was a little nervous about it, but once you get the hands-on, it's not as bad as it seems.

That's what I keep hearing! I'll have to do it when I get home from work today, if it's not raining too bad.

I have a 2013 F30... what is the 2TB Sport coding?? I've already coded about 20 other things so I'm totally comfortable with it.
