Climate sync
Ok had my bmw 24 hours and I love it. But I have 1 niggle and that is climate control. I can't work out how to sync both the driver and passenger side temp. Every car I been in you can sync and control both from drivers side.
Any idea? Lee |

Why did BMW drop the feature from the 3-series? No idea. |

It's nearly worn my fingers down to a nub, not to mention the controls themselves, but I manually rotate the temp knobs so that the numbers on the screen match. It's a terrible inconvenience, but I've managed to survive thus far.

I think it's funny that the early E9x had a residual heat button but no sync. People complained that there was no sync so they replaced REST with sync. Now we have neither. Not a big deal to me though, I miss residual heat more though.

The "in sync" button is gone from the current 3 Series, Many previous BMWs did have this button. I asked my sales guy "why", and he claims it's due to now having the ability to individually set the air flow patterns to each of the front seats (which is a new feature). Not enough buttons apparently.
I also manually reset each side to the same reading, and it is only a slight inconvenience. Another first world problem to complain about..........

Not sure why even change it - I had it set to 72 April through November, and 74 rest of the year. |

Mine is set to 68 when the A/C isn't needed, and 72 during the warmer months. And sometimes my wife decides she wants it a little warmer or cooler, so she can change her side without disturbing mine.
