What options do the rear view mirror equip with front facing camera?
I noticed the camera fitted behind the rear-view mirror, what options do they come with this camera?
Will I get one if i have Bi-Xenon with High Beam Assist and Adaptive Headlight? Sure it will be used for Adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning. |

It is with Speed Limit Info 8TH which i found out isnt compatable with the grey shade band option in the UK on the windscreen.
Happy days though, ordered the sports steering wheel instead. |

I have a forward camera with Auto High Beams.
I am pretty sure the camera feeds the Lane Departure Warning system as well, if you get that. It also is used for Speed Limit Info (8TH). AFAIK, blind spot detection & fwd collision warning systems use radar. Speed Limit detection obviously is based on camera input and LDW also requires camera input to detect lane markings. |

No. LDW uses the cameras underneath the side mirrors. As I stated above, the front camera is used for Speed Limit Info and Forward Collision Warning.
