What options do the rear view mirror equip with front facing camera?

I noticed the camera fitted behind the rear-view mirror, what options do they come with this camera?

Will I get one if i have Bi-Xenon with High Beam Assist and Adaptive Headlight?

Sure it will be used for Adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.

It's not used for lane departure warning nor adaptive cruise. It's used for Speed Limit Info 8TH, and Forward Collision Warning.

It is with Speed Limit Info 8TH which i found out isnt compatable with the grey shade band option in the UK on the windscreen.

Happy days though, ordered the sports steering wheel instead.

I have a forward camera with Auto High Beams.

I am pretty sure the camera feeds the Lane Departure Warning system as well, if you get that. It also is used for Speed Limit Info (8TH).

AFAIK, blind spot detection & fwd collision warning systems use radar.
Speed Limit detection obviously is based on camera input and LDW also requires camera input to detect lane markings.

No. LDW uses the cameras underneath the side mirrors. As I stated above, the front camera is used for Speed Limit Info and Forward Collision Warning.
