Plasti Dip?
Hello guys, I'm new to the bmw world. Has anyone ever Plasti dipped their wheels and window trim? Looking to do my trim and wheels on my 2016 428i

yep, had the trim done, it looks cheap in matte black and crappy, after time peals around the edges and feels nasty and rubbery. wheels would look cheap too. if you do it, layer on like 6 coats so you can take it off easily

I think if you plasti dip it right and add some metallic and gloss, it would look pretty good. I may think about doing that on my stock 18s until I get 19s. If I had 19s, I wouldn't do it.

Yeah I think I'm going to start with tinting my windows and wrapping the trim with vinyl. I like the wheels how they are stock but have always been a big fan of all black.

I plastidipped my grilles matte black and my wheels when I first got them to a metallic red. The grilles turned out great. Never had an issue with them. The wheels were good until I had the tires changed and that peeled the edge of the plastidip so I had to pull it all off.

Here is my stock 4 series.. Will probably get the tint and trim done this weekend. Then will see how the stock wheels look or if I wish to get them powder coated

Did my wheels.....never again. Can't really be washed without peeling some of it.... then it flakes and difficult to remove.

You didn't prep it right and spray enough coats. That's why it was flaking and difficult to peel off. I did my brother G37 wheels and it peeled off really easy and doesn't flake when using power washer.

I dunno. I dipped the wheels on my 320 when I first got it. I don't think it looked 1/2 bad!
