Order Placed: AW/CR 335i M Sport!
I finally received confirmation from my CA that my order has been processed. I faced issues last Friday at one of the dealerships when they tried placing my order, and the sales manager tried to convince me that Coral Red was discontinued on the 2014 M Sport. Of course I did not believe him as it didn't make sense, so I insisted that he should try again and if this was true I will never buy a BMW again. He promised to call BMW NA and get back on me on Mondau, which he never did btw! Knowing better, I went to the other dealership on Saturday and closed the deal. They said the order will be processed on Monday and it sure did!
2014 335i Alpine White on Coral Red with Aluminum Hexagon Trim M Sport Package 19" Rims Dynamic Handling Package (DHP) Sport Auto with Shift Paddles M Sport Brakes Premium Package GPS Navigation Harman Kardon Driver Assistance Package Heated Front Seats The best advice I got on this forum was to order Nav instead of the Technology Package. I didn't care much about Head-Up Display and I honestly did not know that all the other goodies came with the Nav option anyway. I saved $1k that I used to order DHP I have owned multiple BMWs in the past, including: 2007 Z4 M Coupe 2001 330Ci 2000 E39 M5 1999 Z3 Roadster 1993 E36 325i M Technic and a few others in the family... This is the first BMW that I actually build and I'm really excited about it! Thanks to these forums the wait will be easier |

My car went into production and the info on bmwusa.com is not 100% accurate.. I know I read somewhere that the info will not be accurate at first and then it gets fixed, but I also read about people receiving wrong orders.
Almost everything is correct, which means this is not the setup that the dealer had selected for his allocation. The differences are that I don't see 19" rims or aluminum hexagon trim selected, and I also see inconsistency in suspension (both adaptive & M-Sport are mentioned), and in trim finishers (all 3 options are mentioned).. Should I be concerned at all? Thanks

mine is enroute--and still shows all 3 trims now--all the cars ive ordered have shown all trims in the past too if im not mistaken. As long as you have that VIR, you'll be fine.
you'll be done on 11/6 (or maybe a day earlier)--you will likely be at port by 11/8--what sucks is that the next ships at that time arent scheduled to leave until 11/13-11/14 (total of 3 ships)--my bet is that you get on the Michigan Highway (Kline ship, which is better for us Brunswick guy as its a few days faster)..lets see how it plays out! |

Thanks all.. I just talked to my CA and he sent me the VIN, as well as the "Vehicle Inquiry: Design/MSRP".. All the Specs are correct Sp82, I'm also betting on one of those mid November ships.. The funny thing is that my CA is still not confident that I'll get my car before end of year! He says that his system shows Production Started 10/28 at 7:00am, and shows Production Date of 11/6. This 11/6 date is same as the expected completion date according to the 800 number, but my CA is saying no, that's actually when the vehicle actually goes into production. I'm not sure he knows what he's talking about!

Production complete on 11/6
On it's way to the port I'm hoping it gets on one of those ships scheduled for next week
