Engine note in-cabin

I want to hear the engine inside the car, not the exhaust, even with loud exhausts I still don't hear the engine much in the cabin.

I'm not looking into stripping the interior to get all the rattle noises too, but I ride in American cars and they ride well and can hear the V8 engine noise very well in-cabin.

any opinions other than tearing it apart
and Yes it's my daily currently.
