Help decoding my status
Can anyone weigh in on what I should be expecting next as far as time frame? Not sure exactly what "Liner Release" means, although I am assuming it means it has made it on the truck and is possibly in route to the dealer?

No. your car got off the boat on the 15th and the liner was released from port on the 16th.
Your car is probably at the VPC still.

Still have no clue. The status has not changed since I posted the screen shot, and I cant seem to get a definite answer on what any of the statuses mean. According to post #2, my car is most likely still at the VPC, but post #3 thinks it could be in transit?
I emailed my salesman (which has been completely useless with any info through the entire process) and am still waiting on his response. Pretty painful as I'm sure you know! |

I called the 800 number and was told the car has not gone through customs yet and is still at the port, waiting to go to the VPC for inspection.
So does this mean that the information on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website is wrong, or is the status information just too vague to make any sense of on their site? I guess the only option, like others have said, is to just try to black out the thought of anything car related until you eventually get the call from your CA. |

Not think about the car? That is impossible. I have wanted a 335 since 2006. Finally ordered one in April 2012, now that the car is a week away I am supposed to not think about it?
ED is amazing, but you just get a taste, that teases you for the next 2 months while you wait for your car to be shipped back to you. The anticipation just makes the car that much sweeter when you finally receive it. Feel like a kid waiting for Santa... |

Just got an email from my CA saying he doesnt show anything on his end, no ETA, no release notes.
I am wondering what is more current, the WW website's status notes, or the 800 number/Client Advisor? |

Update: I called WW and was told that my car is out of there hands, has been delivered (but they do not know where it was delivered, and do not know if it was delivered to the dealer or somewhere else), has passed customs, fees have been paid etc.

Congrats man, but this makes it even more excruciating for me since your car had to travel several hours from Oxnard to SD, and mine is only about an hour away from Oxnard and still no one has a clue what the status of my car is lol

Update: Still no car. It took 4 days to travel an hour and a half from Oxnard to South Bay BMW. Once it arrived at Southbay, it has been sitting for 3 days, and I cant get a call back or confirmation on when I can pick it up, or why it is just sitting there. I have had a more pleasurable buying experience going to the doctor and getting blood drawn.
