New Whip - 2012 335i white on black

We just got a fully loaded 335i sedan (no msport). Really nice car I have to say. Quite refined drive. Seems a bit disconnected from the road, even compared to the old 335. Otherwise, I'm loving these lights. And the shape is pretty love it or hate it. I like it!

Quite happy with it. I missed that torque! Needs to be louder though...I also have to say that this auto start-stop option annoys the hell out of me. Any way to switch it off permanently, instead of every time the car starts?

Nice ride! As a MTLer, you might also be able to help those wondering about RWD + good snows in the winter. Some circular threads on that going around so watch out though...

you can take it into the dealership for a ONE TIME flash, where the car will remember your last settings for start/stop...

OR

you can have the car coded to permanently turn off the feature or set it the same as they would at the dealership, where it will remember your last setting...

so with good tires its good. fresh snow and thick snow is difficult. it is not comparable to xi obviously. it is on par with the M3 in the snow which is excellent. similar to old 335 as well.

slightly numb steering and suspension that is a bit soft for me. also can't hear the engine much. this is in comparison to the old 335 (2007 coupe) that we had. compared to the m3, it doesn't...lol. it's still good though, I like it. I don't think I will be taking it on spirited drives or to the track however.

don't get me wrong. i really really like this car as an absolute car. I like the way it drives. it is much less raw than the m3...it has it's time and place.

Beautiful car. Love the white. Congrats. Auto start stop can be updated by your dealer to always be off by default except ecopro mode. Request it and they will do it.

Congrats on your car! It's gorgeous How did your car fare during our recent 50 cm snow downfall (assuming you got it before this)?

Another F30 owner in Montreal... Welcome to the club and congrats on your new car!

White looks great! Your car is almost exactly like mine...Mineral Grey on black here.

What winter tires do you have? I've got Blizzak LM-60's with M5 replica rims.

Planning to get the car detailed this week (winter prep, etc.).

Enjoy your new ride!

thanks bud!
sotozerros here. were included with the car. a bit more sporty than the lm60s so better dry performance, but worse in the snow.

Congrats man.

Quick question does the MT have the Sport + option in the drive settings?
