Well, he was trained as a carpenter, many of his parables use a metaphor relating to the trade of a builder and we have no evidence that he had to do any sort of fundraising to support himself and his disciples during the three years of his ministry.

My theory? He was working and saving money.

No it's not.

As to the thread topic - I'm not sure we can assign a gender to God in the same sense that we do to man. We're supposed to use self-defined and preferred pronouns now, right? The scriptures make it clear that God identifies as a 'he', so I'm going to go with that.

I know he was a carpenter (as am I) but why wasn't he healing people & performing miracles with his God given powers 10/20 years earlier?

From my own research I think Jesus & his chums were 'researching' Kaneh-bosm

You talking about the whole 'manger' thing? The family was traveling at the time Jesus was born, not really that surprising.

Good question - he did demonstrate significant promise at the age of 12. One theory is that in Jewish custom of the time one had to attain the age of 30 to be considered capable of leadership.

Could be - personally I'm not morally opposed to weed. If one subscribes to the idea that God gave man eminence over the earth, it stands to reason that consumption of a plant falls within that.

Seeing as women were always painted in the Bible as either very weak or as greater villains than many of the actual villains, I'm pretty sure God was male. No way they'd cast a female lead back then...

As I understand, almost all religious texts have a male god. Only a handfull of early texts paint females in a light that gives us power. Kalevala, the tales of early finns is one of the few and I think the only reason for that is that women here are horrible.

Yeah, thanks to y'all everything sucks now. How'd that childbirth feel? Hurt? You've only yourself to blame.

This sounds like the spaghetti bible my friend !
My first laguage is Flemish and the hooker was Maria Magdalena the GF from Jesus .

Magdalena had 7 badass demons in her a$$ ,that's why she was hot as hell of course Jesus cured her with his *****
From the Flemish bible => http://eindeloosgelukkig.nl/index.ph...aria-magdalena

You can read as well...Jesus was always surrounded by chicks because he was a kinda David Copperfield.
On Youtube they say they smoked weed all day long (it's in the bible too) and probably that explains the whole situation .

Lol, that's the one thing i have never understood, i get why it has to hurt like hell and from personal experience I think every man deserves a medal for bravery if they don't get killed with our hormones, but why is the pain a punishment? Everyone i know who's gone through the thing thinks of pain in general in a completely different way afterwards. Hell, some of us even tolerate men afterwards better than we did earlier on.

So eve stole an apple, why pain? Why not have the knowledge they received as the big punishment? I tell you, i could totally write a better religious book than those before our time did! It would be a combination of fifty shades and Kamasutra and discovery channel. It would have pictures!

(I'm at the vet since my dog is a stupid idiot. That's my excuse for being disrespectful towards religions today!)
