and some answers:

- the brake discs are bigger than standard; they need at least 18" wheels
- driving experience: after 1 day, can't say much except that it drives very smoothly

Thanks

I am interested to know how the initial throttle response feels. Both of my E60 530d's have felt as though there is a slight delay when applying the throttle and then loads of power which is a tad frustrating and I assume is down to turbo lag.
The F30 320d I test drove felt instant every time you applied the throttle like a non-turbo petrol engine which was nice.
I am hoping the 330d responds more like the 320d as opposed to my 530d ?

Also, I am new to forums so can anyone advise on how you put the line at the bottom of my posts with info underneath?

Hi, for the short period I drove it already (2 days), I think initial throttle response is good, but as I am still in the break-in period, it is less relevant for the time being. Once passed 1500 km, I will be able to see whether throttle response is ok or not

regarding 'how to put the line at the bottom' : you need to edit your signature in 'settings' (button next to your nickname top left of the screen)

330d have same brakes as 328i (EU/ROW spec). 335i have 4pot calipers plus 340mm discs upfront.

But I quess this cannot be so, if you say that the M Sport brakes are only 370x30 & 345x24. I am sure that the 335i are larger than this.
I am sure that there is someone out there who knows!
The EU/ROW M-sport brakes are the largest available currently on any F30's.

They looked to be the same part numbers when I looked on the RealOEM thingy. Are you sure they're different?

I hope Steve Sutcliffe tests the 330d as it was his autocar video review of the 328i that convinced me to move away from the 5 series.

EU-spec 328i brakes=330d brakes cos both have the same calipers & discs.
335i have, as standard, 340mm front discs & fixed 4-pot calipers upfront.
U may have looked at the part numbers for M-sport brakes cos for EU/ROW-spec they're the same regardless of whether u have 316i or 335i.

Some info were obtained from realoem, some from E90Fleet, & some from the tech specs & press releases from BMW Global Press website.
Realoem have a lot of info but u really need patience to work out all the option codes & part numbers.

Wow, fabulous looking car! Love the m sport in glacier silver, and think your car looks amazing. Thanks for posting. My glacier silver 328 m sport is waiting for transport in Bremerhaven as I type! I wish I could have gotten a 330d here in the US, but maybe it will be an option when my lease is up. Congratulations, and enjoy your beautiful ride.
