4-series Performance Center Delivery

Does anyone know if BMW will offer PCD for the 4-series this fall? My CA was saying that sometimes PCD is not an option for new models right when they come out. I guess they don't have the fleet of vehicles ready at launch in order to be able to give the full PCD driving experience?

I was really hoping to be able to do PCD for my next lease (starts early october), but he said it's probably not going to be possible. I guess the factory tour is not available until next Summer, either.

I'm not sure. I have a friend who got the F30 at the performance center in SC the month after it came out so it may be possible. I'm going to call my CA and ask since I would be interested in doing the same for the 4.

We will probably all know more once the car is actually unveiled and dealer allocations become available.

The factory is closed for retooling (X4). My group was the last tour until they reopen it.

I see you're in Raleigh, which dealer are you working with?

Go to Performance BMW in Chapel Hill and see if they tell you the same thing about PCD.

Now that we've got a bunch of people with orders... I wanted to bring this thread back from the dead to see if anyone is doing PCD ?

Update! My car is scheduled for production some time in the next 2 weeks (I think) and I just received my PCD date.... December 2nd.

Quite a long way off...but it's nice to have a set date for delivery. And, it's a Monday which should make travel down to SC perfect. I suspect the car will end up sitting for a couple weeks while I wait for my PCD date.
