HELP...valvetronic servomotor ,RR instructions
Hello, can someone help with a site i mite find instructions on how to remove the valvetronic servomotor on a f30 n55, I've search he net but on luck all youtube video are on how to replace it on the n54 engine. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS.

It's a fairly long job (6+ hours or something like that) and you'll need to replace the harness and a couple other stuff, and also make sure you replace the oil sprayer and actually have the BMW OBDII thing so the new servomotor can relearn the camshaft positions again. Unfortunately the N55 on the F-series is a PITA for the valvetronic servomotor. You have to remove a couple stuff to access the top of the engine. Here's a picture I took when they took it apart partially. My SA explained to me what was going on and actually let me into the workshop to take a look. (And yes that is a JB4+Bluetooth you see in the top left corner of the picture. :lol dealer does not give a shit about mods.)

Yes, just replace the servo motor and run the relearn procedure on ISTA, and all is good.

No, it was strictly the servomotor and relearn and that was it.
