Crooked steering wheel after alignment
Has anyone noticed their steering wheel being cooked or not centered straight on after an alignment? I picked up my car 3 weeks ago and brought it back for the dealer to do an alignment after it was pulling right, and now it drives straight but the wheel is not centered.... ie if the wheel is centered the car actually points right.

Thanks for the post - wasn't sure if I was just going crazy or if this was somewhat normal. Never had a car that didn't have a centered wheel!

That's what I meat - just what you described. Thanks for clarifying, BTW - I tried adjusting tie rods on my previous C-class, couldn't do it, now have lots of respects for guys that do alignments. |

Yes, I had that happen on an old Ford. Very very annoying. It shouldn't happen with a good shop. I'm surprised that your dealer would overlook something that basic.
