Msport Sport+ mode xDrive.

Does the 335i Msport xDrive have sport+ mode like the sport line? I know that the sport line comes with Eco, comfort, sport and sport+. Does the Msport xDrive have sport+ as well?

Yes. I like it differently than E46 and E90s.
BTW, Sport+ is just Sport with DSC off.

I think no line and non Sport cars do not have Sport+, only EP/Comfort/Sport.

You can still turn on dynamic handling or turn traction control all the way off. Only thing is the pedals arent as sensitive as when in sport mode. Just press down more!

Is sport+ traction all the way off (hold down traction control foe a few seconds) or is it dynamic handling mode (press button one click)?

Also the xi for the e90s did not come with the sport suspension. Does the f30xi now come with the sussy or is the msport just a looks thing?

You can get variable damping as an option if you choose that option, but otherwise it's the same suspension.

Another poster already noted - there is no difference except for DSC being off.

The pedal does not go in more but at the same amount of pedal travel, sport mode opens up more of the throttle. How do i explain this. Pressing down an inch on the gas pedal in sport mode is somewhat like pressing down the gas pedal a couple inches in comfort mode. Now in eco mode....i hate eco mode. Dont use it at all.

DSC is never off unless you manually turn it off, which you do by pressing the traction button above the drive-mode button. Sport+ is the same as Sport with the addition that DTC is turned on (Dynamic Traction Control). It allows for some more wheel spin before DSC comes to the rescue.

Can u even get adaptive M supsension with Xdrive? Im pretty sure u canīt get the lower M suspension on an xdrive and therefore you shouldnt be able to get the M adaptive. Correct me if Iīm wrong.

Sport+ will also change the gear switch positions so that the engine is always revved above 2-3k rpm in auto mode. This is slightly higher than sport mode with 2-2.5k rpm. Try it, when in the highway at a constant speed, switch to sport and then sport+ you will see the difference.

I also feel it will hold on to gears for longer after accelerating. I've seen it keep my engine at 4k rpm after releasing the pedal.

Just my 2 cents after running around in the two modes for a bit

You can get m-adaptive on xdrive, it's just not lowered.

No mater what the line is, you get sport+ mode if you have any of the following on your car:

Sport Automatic Transmission
Variable sport steering
Adaptive M suspension

That's because in these two modes, the auto trans will not use 7 and 8th gear. Unless you manually shit.

It will if you are traveling at a high enough speed.
