Highway racing an X4 M40i w/ JB4 + a Dragstrip Run

Enjoy folks. 335 GT has Active Autowerke Active8 Tune which adds about 60 crank hp and 40 wheel. The 355 hp X4 now has at least 400 or more, as it's only a beta tune for that specific model. Aerodynamically, the GT has the upper hand in the triple digits where it starts to catch up and reel the X4 in slowly. Though, from about 70 to 100 pretty even.

those freeway runs seem a little pointless, neither starting at the same speed, but guess kind of shows that at those speeds, the x4 only slightly pulls on the 335. but man, the x4 walked you at the strip. i'd question that 40 wheel hp claim.

The videos don't do the 335 GT justice. We were pretty even on the hwy when we did many many runs. The X4 has a superior cooling system compared to the 335 GT also. Once at the track, the intake temps were about 140 degrees. Heat soak really kills. Def need an FMIC. Thanks for watching though

No way, just a new $500 part, lol. The tune is legit though, without it, the X4 is gone on hwy.

Shoutouts to CrashnBrn5 for being part of this Real World testing! we'll have more coming in the fall

lemonchicken makes a good point, without being on the same speed and same gear anyone can take it.. you also have to keep in mind i let off a lot sooner than GT (may look like he caught up lol) if I'm not mistaken we were slowing down to 45-60 and hit it then i would let off at 120-130

All the drag-strip runs as you can see this was after the highway run and the more aggressive map didn't benefit in the heatsoak weather/temp.
on the Dynojet the X4 M40i put down 339whp/331wtq stock, map1 347/367 and map2 363/386 without adaptation ..
